T-SYSTEMS LAUNCHES NEOPOST PARTNERSHIP

Deutsche Telekom has confirmed that T-Systems, its corporate customer branch, is set to provide global IP-based high speed network services to mail processing organisation Neopost.

 

The four-year contract will see T-Systems provide 30 key Neopost facilities with a new network, in place of existing net infrastructures.

 

In addition to sites in European nations like France and Germany, the network will extend to facilities in further afield destinations such as the USA, Canada and Japan.

 

Philippe Doublet, chief information officer at Neopost, said that T-Systems offered his firm a "personalised, strong and simple solution".

 

Following a competition for the contract, he added: "T-Systems has best understood our needs and specificities."

 

According to Deutsche Telekom, a virtual private network will now be put in place to ensure Neopost's security remains tight. This measure should offer intrusion protection to the mail processing organisation, it said.
